Bakenbardy

So the Russian word for sideburns or muttonchops is "bakenbardy," which several of the guys in Level 3 found so funny that they are all now growing their own bakenbardy. Pictures will follow, I promise.

News from here -
Amy Margolis' mother passed away, we haven't seen her since it happened. Cass and Erin are both displaced by the flooding but seem to be doing very well.
3000 sets of Explore: Delivered!
We celebrated with Whitey's Ice Cream Cake!
Walter Koenig (Chekov) came in for Trek Fest - I helped make a "This is your life" video for him, he's a very nice guy!
Stephen got a mock-up of his book from the publisher and it's awesome!
Caryl is moving to Wisconsin at the end of July and Stephen says that will make Iowa a little worse and Wisconsin a little better - how sweet!
Rachael's play "Wonder of the World" is a big success and everyone loves her role in it.
I enjoyed your blog.
Keep up the good work - soon Vermont will be a little worse and Russia will be a little better!

good to hear from you. i'm glad you have been so active on my blog. it's always gret to hear from people from back home. i can definitely relate to your woes about grammar, but at least, when things get tough, you can take solice in the fact that i don't even have a vocabulary base to fall back on. maybe someday though.
